Guided Fly Fishing Trips and COVID-19 Update

I know everyone’s been getting bombarded with all of the fun COVID-19 updates lately but after lots of phone calls, text messages, emails and DM’s its become clear that it’s something that we need to address as well.

For us at Bowman Fly Fishing we are continuing with business as normal for the foreseeable future. We are heeding to the advice and decisions that are coming from Federal, state, and local governments and ask that during this time you do the same. It’s better that we all help do our part to keep this thing from spreading so we can all move on with our lives….

Now that the Disclaimers out of the way there here’s the deal with us. All of us and our families are healthy and Coronavirus free and we are all taking measures to make sure it stays that way. We all have families and kids and don’t want any harm to come to them just like we want to keep you safe as well. That being said a fly fishing trip in the mountains falls perfectly in line with every guideline that has been published by the CDC and otherwise for “quarantine” activities. We understand travel and flights are a little interesting right now. But realistically the only other human interaction you’ll have during the day if you wish for it to be so is just your guide. We are taking extra measures just to be sure everything is clean and sanitary and we are avoiding any kind of situations with crowds or numbers of people ( We hate crowds anyways, we’re fishing guides).

There is  going to be one minor changes and a couple bullets to note but Please read below –

·        We won’t be providing lunches on Full Day trips and ask that you pack your own lunch to minimize our contact with your food. We will still have drinks in a cooler on the boat but please bring your own food.

·        If any of us feel sick or have clos family that we are in contact with feeling sick we WILL NOT be guiding and that particular guide will be canceling all trips until he is cleared to return. Again we are not going to put you in harms way

·        If YOU feel sick or a close loved one that YOU are in contact with is showing symptoms we ask that you cancel your trip as soon possible. We don’t want to be put in harms way ourselves and be out of work or have our families exposed because someone really wanted to do that trip. We’re happy to refund your deposit or help you find another date

Thank you guys and if you have any questions Contact myself (Daniel), Jason or Kyle or call and email 678-221-7777 / Daniel@bowmanflyfishing.com and we’ll be happy to help. Lets get out on the water and make the most of this time!
